Honestly, I think the reason he thinks that is because Damon is (I’m judging by polls) more popular of a character than Stefan.
But that is no reason to feel under appreciated as a person…
I think Paul is a phenomenal actor, and many people will agree with me. Even though I don’t particularly love Stefan’s character, I think Paul portrays it absolutely magnificently. He’s so funny and sweet in interviews and stuff too, and I love him just as much as I love Ian. Plus he’s sexy so I seriously doubt he’s loved less than Ian and someone should assure him of that.
I love both of them so much; all I can say that Nina/Elena is a lucky girl.

This news article interviews Julie Plec, the executive producer, and she talks about how the tension between Damon and Elena will get a little hotter and more physical. She also talks about how Damon will give Elena the “Ultimatum” (EEP!) and oh my god. I’m freaking out. Also she talks about Stefan and Klaus…some Klefan action. We haven’t seen the worst of either of them, and it’s frightening to think about it.
Whenever I watch Vampire Diaries at a long stretch I end up a little mindfucked.
