Honestly, I think the reason he thinks that is because Damon is (I’m judging by polls) more popular of a character than Stefan.
But that is no reason to feel under appreciated as a person…
I think Paul is a phenomenal actor, and many people will agree with me. Even though I don’t particularly love Stefan’s character, I think Paul portrays it absolutely magnificently. He’s so funny and sweet in interviews and stuff too, and I love him just as much as I love Ian. Plus he’s sexy so I seriously doubt he’s loved less than Ian and someone should assure him of that.
I love both of them so much; all I can say that Nina/Elena is a lucky girl.

This is ridiculous and invalid because #1: How the hell would the act be selfISH? Did Damon in any way WANT to murder Bonnie’s mother and didn’t let Stefan do the job because he felt HAPPY turning her? #2: How the hell would the act be selfISH if Damon pretty much saved Stefan from Elena hating him forever (although to be honest, Stefan wouldn’t need it because even if he turned ELENA into a vampire she would still forgive him). And #3: Of course Damon would fucking save Elena. If you don’t recall Stefan wanted to save her too, and was SUPPOSED to save her but the two of them discussed before, that whoever ended up SAVING Elena would be HATED by her. “I’m better at being the bad guy anyway,” said Damon, doing Stefan’s job so that Elena and Stefan could continue their happy/problem-free teenage romance. He did it for his brother AND his love, and AFTER they BOTH broke his heart in 3x14.
THAT’S what you call selfless. Now if you don’t think that’s selfless, you don’t have a heart.
I’ve noticed that many of these confessions include Damon-hate, but NONE of them so far have been Stefan-hate-related.
Really, Bonnie and Stelena fans, really? Be a little more mature, seriously.
